As the ultimate supermarket of the south of The Netherlands, Jan Linders always launches large regional campaigns during carnival. For one of the campaigns Jan Linders wanted to make an ode to all carnival princes.
We developed an augmented reality face filter for Instagram.
With this filter, depending on the region/province in which someone celebrates carnival, the user can take a picture with the iconic carnival hat and scepter. The scepter was also a reward item for Jan Linders customers. This way, we not only generated awareness to the carnival campaign, but also added a fun activation mechanism to it.
